The Committee members scrutinized two Bills submitted by the Cabinet of Ministers and People´s Deputy A.Senchenko.
The governmental Bill (Reg. No. 5491) introduces amendments to the Laws "On Amendments to certain Laws of Ukraine regarding Reduction of Influence of the Global Financial Crisis on Employment" and "On Compulsory State Social Insurance against Unemployment" regarding Further Payment of Partial Unemployment Aid in the year 2010.
The Bill (Reg. No.5491-1) submitted by People´s Deputy A.Senchenko prolongs the effect of the Law "On Compulsory State Social Insurance against Unemployment" regarding Further Payment of Partial Unemployment Aid. It also offers a new definition of the term "partial unemployment" (Clause 1), and restricts payment of the partial unemployment aid to the employees who rejected suitable employment at another enterprise (Clause 25).
Since the Bills aim at the stabilization of work of the Fund for Compulsory State Social Insurance against Unemployment, the Committee members recommend that the parliament upholds the governmental Bill.
